Walter H. Miller
Walter Miller was one of Williamsburg's premiere photographers.
Besides writing at least three books on the subject of photography
in Williamsburg, his company grew from a small camera shop on the
corner of Prince George St. and North Boundary to a well-respected
printing establishment. The company has been variously known as
Walter H. Miller, Miller Publishing Company, Town Crier Publishers,
and Bicast Publishing Company. It still exists and still produces
most of the modern Williamsburg postcards. Mr. Miller
passed away May 25, 1999 at the age of 89.
