The Jamestown Exposition (Jamestown Amusement & Vending Co., Inc., Norfolk, Va.)

The Jamestown Exposition in 1907 celebrated the 300th
anniversary of the establishment of the Jamestown settlement
in 1607. To commemorate the historical importance of the area, a
series of postcards was released, many of which featured structures
in Williamsburg. The Jamestown Exposition was instrumental in
drawing early tourists to the area long before Colonial
Williamsburg existed. All of these cards were printed by
the American Colortype Co.
